Welcome to the Owen's Online Library Catalogue

If you would like to help the Library raise extra funds to purchase more resources please use the Amazon icon link below for your Amazon shopping.

Thank you!

The Dame Alice Owen's School Online Library Catalogue allows everyone to search the catalogue for items in the library and related websites. The Basic search allows you to use whatever terms you wish or to restrict your search to author, title, subject, keyword, ISBN, Series or Call Number (classification). For example a search for J K Rowling as author will bring up 17 items, while a general search on Harry Potter will give all the Harry Potter books and related materials such as links to websites. With the Advanced search you can combine many terms and formats to refine your search. The catalogue tells you which books are available and even includes a link to Amazon reviews. (We cannot guarantee that there will be a review for your chosen item but there should be a fairly high success rate). More detailed instructions about searches will help you use the basic search and the advanced search. If you are a member of the school community you will also be able to log into your own area of the system to renew items on loan, make reservations and requests and create your own lists. If you would like further information, or need help logging in, please consult the librarians.
